Fraud: A suspect got a hold of a credit card account number of a Newcastle resident and racked up more than $870 in purchases from a department store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street.

Sunday, May 11

Speed racer: Two vehicles were seen street racing in the 11600 block of Willows Road. Redmond Police pulled one vehicle over and arrested the driver for reckless driving.

Caveman: A man who lived in the 14000 block of Northeast 77th Street called to report that somebody had thrown rocks at his vehicle, causing damage to the hood and window.

Theft: Police arrested a man for shoplifting food from a grocery store in the 17900 block of Redmond Way.

Friday, May 9

Theft: Three catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles in the 15200 block of Northeast 90th Street.

Thursday, May 8

Cheech and Chong: Police officers approached two teenagers who were sitting in a parked car in the 13400 block of Northeast 70th Street. The officers found out that the teens were smoking marijuana. They were arrested and later released to their parents.
