Slashed: A resident who lives in the 18600 block of Redmond Way reported that someone slashed the tires of a vehicle in the middle of the night.

Sunday, June 1

Alarming event: Police responded to a reported alarm going off at a store in the 11400 block of Avondale Road.

When police arrived, they discovered a door had been forced open with a crow bar.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene and searched the area, but came up empty.

Saturday, May 31

Smash and dash: Two witnesses saw a white man smash the rear driver side window of a Ford Explorer, parked in the 10400 block of Willows Road.

The man then stole two purses out of the vehicle and sped away in a full-size pickup truck.

Friday, May 30

Movie and a car prowl: Police responded to a car prowl at a movie theatre in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

One of the vehicle’s windows was smashed, a GPS unit, and a video game console along with a video game were stolen.

Hit with spit: A Metro bus driver was spat on by upset rider on Northeast 83rd Street.

The driver called police, but they could not find the spitting suspect.

Burglary: A business, located in the 18000 block of Redmond Way, was burglarized in the middle of the night.

The suspect gained entry through a garage window and stole coins from the cash register. The suspect also damaged a computer.

Keep it cool: Police responded to an assault complaint at a construction job site in the 15000 block of Northeast 36th Street.

A physical dispute developed between some carpet installers and an electrician who were working in the same area.

Tuesday, May 27

Fraud: A woman reported that someone from her place of business stole her business credit card from her purse, used it at a gas station and then returned the card back to her purse.
