Wednesday, May 13

Gas guzzler: A resident reported that an unknown male attempted to siphon fuel from her vehicle, which was parked in the 15800 block of Northeast Leary Way.

Burglary: A woman who lives in the 18600 block of Northeast 62nd Circle reported finding her apartment ransacked after returning home from work. The woman suspects her ex-husband entered with a key because there are no signs of forced entry and only his belongings were missing.

Getting the axe: A woman who lives in the 10600 block of Avondale Road awoke in the middle of the night to her dogs barking. She found that her long-handled axe was missing.

Tuesday, May 12

Warrant: Redmond Police served a felony warrant on a resident in the 6200 block of 159th Place Northeast. The resident was arrested and a female at the residence was arrested for obstructing officers and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday, May 11

Wrong way: A woman was arrested for driving under the influence after Redmond police officers saw her driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Avondale Road near the 8500 block.

Littering: A resident who lives in the 16600 block of Northeast 46th Street reported that someone dumped a large amount of yard waste and trees behind his shed.

Sunday, May 10

Caught in the act: While investigating a separate shoplifting incident at a store in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street, Redmond Police apprehended another shoplifter who was caught stealing merchandise.

Saturday, May 9

Domestic violence: A man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in the 16600 block of Northeast 39th Way.

Friday, May 8

Junior high fight: Redmond police arrested a Redmond Junior High School student at the school after he assaulted another student during a gym class.

Thursday, May 7

Burglary: A suspect entered through a window of a residence in the 3800 block of West Lake Sammamish and stole some books and DVDs.
