Caught red-handed: Police responded to an alarm at a business in the 15000 block of Northeast 20th Street and arrested a man running from the scene.

Monday, Oct. 6

Help, please: A man requested medical assistance, claiming he was assaulted by an unknown man on the side of the road in the 11300 block of Avondale Road. The victim did not want to cooperate with the investigation.

Sunday, Oct. 5

Agency assist: The Bothell Police Department requested K-9 help from Redmond Police to help track down a car prowler. The suspect escaped from police on foot, but was located by Redmond K-9 Vader in some thick brush. Charges have been filed.

Not so fast: A male stole a wallet and then ran out of a bar in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street. But the man was detained by the bartender until police arrived. The man was arrested. No one actually saw the theft, but the suspect did have the wallet in his pocket when police searched for it.

Saturday, Oct. 4

DUI: Police arrested a man on suspicion of driving under the influence in the 14800 block of Redmond Way. The man was driving with a suspended license and he had multiple arrest warrants.

Friday, Oct. 3

False alarm?: Police responded to an alleged malicious mischief call at an apartment in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. During investigation, police found out that the complainant might have been providing false statements. The case has been forwarded to prosecutor for review.

Theft: A juvenile was arrested for shoplifting in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. He was arrested, booked and released to a parent.
