Theft: Police responded to a report of a theft at a gym in the 8700 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

The victim told police that somebody stole cash out of his wallet, which was in his locker.

The victim gave a vague description of a suspect he believes went into his locker without his permission.

Monday, Aug. 25

Theft: An entire muffler with a catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota pickup, which was parked in the 9800 block of Avondale Road.

Car prowl: Police investigated a car prowl in the 9200 block of 171st Avenue Northeast. Police found pry marks on the vehicle, but nothing was taken from vehicle.

Sunday, Aug. 24

Stereo swiped: Somebody smashed out a rear wing window of a vehicle parked in the 9800 block of Avondale Road. The suspect then went inside the vehicle and stole the stereo.

Saturday, Aug. 23

Fake prescription: A woman tried to forge a prescription at a store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street.

She left the store before police arrived, but the pharmacist was able to make a photo copy of the woman’s driver’s license before she took off.

Friday, Aug. 22

Not so fast: Police arrested a woman at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast after she tried to shoplift approximately $125 worth of perfume, jewelry and clothing.

Get your own plants: A woman who lives in the 3900 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast reported that several expensive plants from her yard were stolen.

Thursday, Aug. 21

Burglary: Somebody broke into a real estate business in the 16200 block of Redmond Way by smashing a window and prying open a door. Several computers and televisions were stolen. Police found some evidence are investigating the incident.
