Monday, Nov. 13

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 8:48 a.m. in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road. Redmond police are investigating a string of thefts over the last few months from UPS trucks. The company reported that eight packages, all containing electronics, have been stolen after being scanned into a truck for delivery since July. Police are working with the security team at UPS to investigate the matter.

Sunday, Nov. 12

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 12:10 p.m. in the 15800 block of Redmond Way. Officers responded to reports of a shoplift in progress at a local drug store. An employee of the store called 911 after she saw two women, accompanied by a small child, leave the shop with unpaid merchandise. The witness then saw the suspects go into another store in the same shopping complex and then get into a vehicle. The employee gave police a brief description of the two suspects and the vehicle they drove away in. Officers did not immediately locate the suspects and are looking into any possible video surveillance.

Saturday, Nov. 11

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 5:55 p.m. in the 2400 block of 173rd Place Northeast. Police responded to a burglary at an unoccupied residence. The victim called police after his security system alerted him that the broken glass sensor had been tripped. The suspect had broken through a side window and ripped out a screen to enter the home. Numerous valuables and documents were stolen from the home. Police are processing all evidence and the investigation is ongoing.

Friday, Nov. 10

Fraud: Redmond police took a report of credit-card fraud at 9:42 a.m. in the 11300 block of 179th Court Northeast.

Thursday, Nov. 9

Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 11:11 a.m. in the 1800 block of Northeast 85th Court. A woman reported having three windows smashed out of a vehicle she had borrowed while it sat in front of her residence overnight. It appeared no items had been stolen from the car. There was no suspect information at the time.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 6:52 a.m. in the 8300 block of 154th Avenue Northeast. Employees of a construction company reported that two utility trailers had been broken into. An unknown suspect had broken the padlocks on the trailers and some tools and other items were stolen. Police are investigating.
