Lake Washington School District invites the public to review and comment on middle school math materials. These materials are under consideration for adoption as math curriculum for grades 6-8. The recommended program is Glencoe Math, McGraw Hill Publishing, copyright 2015.

The recommended materials will go to the district’s board of directors for approval. If approved, the materials will be purchased for the 2016-17 school year.

A curriculum committee evaluated possible middle school math curricula. They heard presentations from publishers. The committee narrowed the choices to finalists. The district’s Instructional Materials Committee will also review the recommended curriculum.

Materials will be on display at the Lake Washington School District Resource Center (16250 N.E. 74th St., Redmond) through May 27. Community members will be able to give written feedback.
