The City of Redmond will bake up another grand springtime celebration, Recipe for Love II, at 3 p.m. on May 2 on the Redmond City Hall Great Lawn, 15670 N.E. 85th St.

Recipe for Love II is an all-ages, lively two-hour interactive springtime performance-celebration. Visitors will see their favorite characters such as Queen Ambrosia, Professor Pomme, and Rabbit Razzelberry in an original performance by Redmond artist-in-residence, Lucia Neare. Visitors will also have the chance to dance the afternoon away to the dreamy melodies of a live 1920s dance orchestra and participate in other interactive activities such as the Dance of the May Pole, Dessert Picnic and the Games of the Golden Eggs.

Visitors who want to get involved in the celebrations are encouraged to wear pink and their dancing shoes, as well as bring a cake to share with their friends and neighbors.

The event will take place rain or shine.
