The following students from Redmond have received National Merit Scholarship Corporation scholarships.

· Eugene Moon, Redmond High School – National Merit Occidental College Scholarship

· Jenna Oratz, Tesla STEM High School – National Merit Vanderbilt University Scholarship

· Catalina Raggi, Tesla STEM High School – National Merit University of Chicago Scholarship

· Sarah Moore, The Overlake School – National Merit University of Alabama Scholarship

Officials of each sponsor college selected their scholarship winners from among finalists in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship program who plan to attend their institution. These awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.
