Redmond Boy Scouts serve food to homeless youths at First Annual Pancake Breakfast

Approximately 180 people attended Troop 550's First Annual Pancake Breakfast this past Saturday morning at Redmond United Methodist Church.

Approximately 180 people attended Boy Scout Troop 550’s First Annual Pancake Breakfast this past Saturday morning at Redmond United Methodist Church.

The troop served homeless youth sponsored by Redmond-based Friends of Youth as well as people from various Eastside communities.

Pancakes, bacon, and other food and drinks were donated by Village Square Cafe, Bill the Butcher Organic Meats, Frankie’s Pizza and Pasta, QFC, Costco, Cash & Carry Groceries, and Tully’s Coffee shops.

Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) from Redmond Fire Station No. 11 attended event in addition to representatives from the Redmond Police Department.
