For the past three years, a group of Redmond High School students has partnered with Dawn McCutcheon (a Redmond resident and survivor of heart disease) and the American Heart Association (AHA) to plan and implement the event. The students have helped raise more than $14,000 for the AHA.

The festive and family friendly 5K run and walk features participants who are plastered with color as they go through the course, ending in a multi-color finish. The event promotes physical activity for heart health, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the AHA.
