Redmond detectives continue Jan. 1 homicide investigation

Redmond police detectives continue to investigate the homicide of 20-year-old Adrian Anguiano.

At about 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2017, he was at the Trails of Redmond Apartment Complex (16800 N.E. 39th Court) when he was shot in the neck by an unknown suspect. He died at the scene and detectives and his family want to find the person responsible.

Anguiano was attending a party at the apartment clubhouse along with more than 200 other people, and investigators continue to ask for assistance from anyone who has any information about the party or the events leading up to his death.

“No matter how small or insignificant the piece of information may seem, detectives want to hear from you,” said Redmond Police Department public information officer James Perry. “If you attended the party and have not yet spoke with detectives, please call. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.”

Investigators continue to follow up on current leads, as well as new information as it becomes available.

Anyone who has information about this crime is urged to contact RPD at (425) 556-2500 and ask for Det. Jesse Bollerud.
