Redmond Fire Department open houses feature Sparky

The Redmond Fire Department hosted open houses Oct. 5-11 in honor of Fire Prevention Week and reminded citizens about the importance of working smoke alarms. More than 900 residents visited their local fire departments throughout the week.

The Redmond Fire Department hosted open houses Oct. 5-11 in honor of Fire Prevention Week and reminded citizens about the importance of working smoke alarms. More than 900 residents visited their local fire departments throughout the week. Kids adventures included exploring a fire engine and putting on fire gear, just like a firefighter.
