Redmond High cheer squad to raise money for the Follett Fund

The Redmond High School (RHS) Mustang cheer squad will host a spaghetti feed and silent auction for the benefit of the Jessica Follett Fund, from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 2 in the Redmond High School Cafeteria, 17272 NE 104th St.

Follett, who is a member of the cheer squad, was critically injured in a car accident on March 24 and is now undergoing inpatient rehabilitation at Seattle Children’s Hospital. All proceeds from the event will go toward her medical expenses.

Silent auction items include Seattle Sounders tickets, Seattle Mariners tickets, Canyons gift cards, Cookie Lee Jewelry, a Bellevue Police Department ride-along, tandem paragliding, a dinner prepared by the firefighters from Station 82 in Sammamish (who responded to the scene of Follett’s accident) and more.

Donations to the Jessica Follett Fund can also be made at any U.S. Bank branch.
