Redmond Historical Society meeting to feature Jesse ‘Clark’ McAbee of Northwest Railway Museum, slated for April 9

The Redmond Historical Society will meet on April 9 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 N.E. 80 St.

The Redmond Historical Society will meet on April 9 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 N.E. 80 St.

Additionally, Jesse “Clark” McAbee of the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie will be speaking. McAbee will discuss saving a King County landmark and give the history and restoration of the Messenger of Peace, Chapel Car 5, an all-wood, 80-foot passenger car built in Dayton, Ohio, in 1898, for the express purpose of spreading the gospel across the United States.
