Redmond Historical Society’s annual picnic slated for June 11

The Redmond Historical Society's annual picnic will be Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Anderson Park at 7802 168 Ave. N.E.

The Redmond Historical Society’s annual picnic will be Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Anderson Park at 7802 168 Ave. N.E.

The event is for the whole family and attendees are asked to bring a favorite potluck dish to share. The society will also provide food.

The Old Time Fiddlers will provide entertainment. This will be the last get-together until September.

The society is also having a quilt raffle in honor of Redmond’s Centennial in 2012. Tickets are $2 each. May is National Historic Preservation Month.
