Redmond Mayor Marchione elected to 2013 Sound Cities Association board of directors

Redmond Mayor John Marchione has been elected to the 2013 Sound Cities Association (SCA) board of directors, which represents 35 cities in King County and provides a regional voice for nearly 1 million people.

Redmond Mayor John Marchione has been elected to the 2013 Sound Cities Association (SCA) board of directors, which represents 35 cities in King County and provides a regional voice for nearly 1 million people.

“SCA gives Redmond and our other members cities a powerful regional voice, provides members an opportunity to connect and network, and offers tremendous tools to learn what other cities are doing,” said Deanna Dawson, SCA executive director.

Mayor Marchione represents SCA as a member of the Puget Sound Regional Council executive board and operations board.  In addition, he is the chair of the Cascade Water Alliance board.
