Wednesday, May 18

Reckless burning: At around 10:30 p.m., Redmond police arrested a 49-year-old man at Tent City 4, which is located on church grounds in the 10500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast, for reckless burning.

Biting dog: Redmond police investigated a 5:56 p.m. report of a loose dog who bit a man on his hand near the corner of Northeast 109th Street and Avondale Road. The case will be forwarded to King County Animal Control.

Unhealthy habit: Redmond police arrested a 55-year-old man after he jumped over the counter at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way and stole three cartons of cigarettes. Police were called at 8:39 a.m. and the suspect was found and arrested.

Theft: A backpack, containing computer equipment, was stolen in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Phone harassment: A man who lives in the 16500 block of Northeast 46th Street reported that he thinks his ex-girlfriend is calling him with harassing phone calls.

Monday, May 16

Theft: The window of a vehicle, parked in the 10200 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast, was smashed and a purse was stolen from inside the vehicle.

Dumpster diving: Metal pieces were taken from a large recycling dumpster at a business in the 9699 block of 153rd Avenue Northeast.

Bike stolen: A man who lives in the 7500 block of Old Redmond Road reported that his bicycle was stolen from his porch.

Theft: Around 2 a.m., Redmond police investigated an incident where a person did not pay for cab services in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.

Sunday, May 15

Home on wheels?: Redmond police responded to a 7:39 p.m. report of a suspicious mobile home in the 15900 block of Northeast 93rd Way. It is believed that the occupants are living in the mobile home.

Identity theft: A woman who lives in the 4300 block of 156th Avenue Northeast reported at 1:15 p.m. that someone attempted to rent an apartment unit using her personal information.

Too much alcohol: A man was transported to the hospital around 6:30 p.m. after he was found to be heavily intoxicated at the Edge Skate Park in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Assault: Redmond police responded to an 8:43 p.m. report of an assault incident at the Edge Skate Park in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Reckless driving: Redmond police arrested a 39-year-old Everett man for reckless driving on State Route 520 near the Northeast 40th Street on-ramp.

Theft: A 39-year-old Redmond woman was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road.
