Car prowlers caught: Police arrested two suspects who were car prowling near Northeast 76th Street and 185th Avenue Northeast at around 5:30 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 4

Got a smoke?: Somebody forced open a window to a locked vehicle in the 17900 block of Redmond Way and stole a carton of cigarettes. Police officers took fingerprints from the window.

Wheeled off: A police officer responded to a theft in the 7000 block of Old Redmond Road. Apparently, somebody stole four tires off the back patio of a ground-level apartment unit.

Sunday, Aug. 3

Theft: An unknown number of suspects stole six pairs of designer sunglasses from a business in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street while the clerk was distracted.

Saturday, Aug. 2

Breakfast of champions: A man who lives in the 2500 block of 186th Avenue Northeast woke up to find that his daughter’s vehicle was covered with oatmeal and cottage cheese.

Unlocked and unloaded: Somebody stole a GPS unit, camera and computer hard drive from an unlocked car while it was parked in front of a house in the 13300 block of Northeast 93rd Street.

Friday, Aug. 1

Time to go home: Police officers responded to a park in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue Northeast of a reported drunk juvenile. The officers determined the girl was drunk, so they arrested her and took her to her father’s house.

Caught red-handed: A male teen was arrested after he tried to steal a video game from a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Thursday, July 31

Embezzlement: Three employees of a department store in the 7400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast were arrested after they were found making fraudulent returns to gift cards, which they later used to purchase items at other stores.

Wednesday, July 30

Undercover cops: Redmond Police conducted an undercover operation to purchase heroin in the 12500 block of Northeast 85th Street. The suspect delivered the heroin and was arrested.

Dog gone: A resident called police to report that her dog was stolen from her locked vehicle in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.
