Redmond police continue investigation in hit-and-run case

The Redmond Police Department’s (RPD) traffic division continues to investigate a hit-and-run collision from last week and sent a pedestrian to the hospital.

Based on information provided by the victim, evidence at the scene and local auto body experts, the involved vehicle is believed to be a 2004-12 pewter Chevy Colorado or GMC Sonoma with two-wheel drive, front-end damage, hood damage and possible windshield damage.

The collision occurred at Northeast 85th Street and 164th Avenue Northeast shortly before 6 a.m. March 5. The victim, a 22-year-old Redmond man, was hit while in a crosswalk and sustained leg and head injuries, none of which are life threatening.
