Redmond Police Department to offer Women’s Personal Safety Class March 8

The Redmond Police Department (RPD) will hold its next Women’s Personal Safety Class from 6:30-8:30 p.m. March 8 in the department training room. This class is for women of all ages and will focus on how to avoid becoming a victim of crime. RPD will provide safety tips for work, home, outdoor activities, social outings and what to do in case of car trouble.

This class also covers the pros and cons of different weapons for personal safety and how to legally and safely carry these. This is not a self-defense course.
