Redmond police identify and arrest woman on 11 felony charges

Redmond police identified and subsequently arrested the woman whose picture was posted on the Reporter's website and other news sites last week. She was arrested yesterday for 11 felony counts — eight for second-degree identity theft and three for second-degree possession of stolen property.

Redmond police identified and subsequently arrested the woman whose picture was posted on the Reporter’s website and other news sites last week. She was arrested yesterday for 11 felony counts — eight for second-degree identity theft and three for second-degree possession of stolen property.

“We did receive a tip from someone who saw her picture — it’s unclear at this point where or how they saw the photo, but another great catch with the help of our community,” said Jim Bove, Redmond Police Department’s community outreach facilitator.

Last week, Redmond police were looking for the female believed to be associated with a vehicle prowl and a theft from a locker at a gym, both in Redmond. Both instances involved the victims’ stolen credit cards being used at various establishments; the picture was taken from video at a local store of the woman using one of the stolen credit cards.
