Monday, July 16

Vehicle prowl: Redmond police took a car prowl report from the 16200 block of Northeast 83rd Street downtown at 5:45 p.m. There is no suspect information.

Suspicious circumstance: At 4:11 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of a message the victim in the 9100 block of 156th Place Northeast received via a social media website.

Assault: An employee at a business in the 6900 block of 176th Avenue Northeast downtown reported being assaulted by a co-worker at 11:11 a.m.

Sunday, July 15

Malicious mischief: At 10 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported theft at the intersection of Old Redmond Road and 140th Place Northeast of Grass Lawn. It was determined after investigation that a malicious mischief had occurred. Suspect charged through investigation.

Possession: At 6:39 p.m., Redmond police responded to a welfare check in the 9900 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill and the female admitted to being in possession of heroin.

Vandalism: Redmond police responded to two reports of vandalism on Education Hill. The first came at 2:05 p.m. from the 8800 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. Damage was incurred by a parked vehicle. The second report came at 3:19 p.m. from the 16700 block of Northeast 91st Place. A vehicle’s window was broken.

Saturday, July 14

Vehicle prowl: It was reported at 5:36 p.m. that a car was prowled while being transported to its owners in the 8100 block of 149th Place Northeast of Grass Lawn.

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police responded to a reported theft of mail at 8:57 a.m. from residents in the 9800 block of 138th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.

Friday, July 13

Assault: Redmond police responded to a report of physical domestic violence from the 13500 block of Old Redmond Road of Grass Lawn at 9:03 p.m. The suspect was arrested for fourth degree domestic violence assault.

Vehicle prowl: A victim reported at 2:34 p.m. that his vehicle was prowled while parked in an outdoor parking lot at his place of employment in the 6200 block of 185th Avenue Northeast downtown.

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway at 1:54 p.m. There is no further information.

Thursday, July 12

Turtle on the loose?: Redmond police responded to a reported suspicious circumstance in the 7700 block of 151st Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn. Subject reported that a pet turtle had gone missing. Redmond Police Department spokesperson Jim Bove said nothing else was missing from the residence. “No signs of forced entry so either someone snuck in and stole the turtle or it’s crawled out of its cage and (is) gallivanting through Redmond,” he said.

Vehicle prowl: A victim reported at 12:40 p.m. that his vehicle was prowled at his residence in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway downtown more than a week ago. There was no sign of forced entry. A rock trimmer and metal detectors were stolen.

Stolen vehicle: A Kubota Tractor KX161 was reported stolen from a worksite in the 8700 block of 169th Avenue Northeast at 10:53 a.m.
