Redmond police, K-9 unit pursue suspect after domestic call

Late Friday morning, Redmond police responded to a domestic situation from the 9800 block of Avondale Road Northeast.

At 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Redmond police responded to a domestic situation from the 9800 block of Avondale Road Northeast.

The suspect fled north on foot. Police cars were positioned along Avondale Road Northeast, Northeast 104th Street and 184th Avenue Northeast. There was also an emergency medical services truck positioned along Avondale Road Northeast. In addition, police used a K-9 unit to track the suspect. They were unsuccessful, but assistant police chief Kristi Wilson said the man is a known suspect.
