With a new online service called Docview, the Redmond Police Department (RPD) is now offering a more efficient way to obtain a traffic collision report.

For an $11 fee, involved parties can access their collision report on the secure Docview website. They are typically available within 48 hours after the officer completes the report.

For those who do not wish to pay the convenience fee, reports can still be requested through the Redmond Police Records Division. These requests are processed in the order received. By law, the department has five business days to provide the report or notify the requestor that more time is needed.

“Being involved in a collision is a frustrating experience, but we hope Docview makes it a little easier and less stressful,” said Support Services supervisor Shawn Mary Fitzpatrick. “It is a time-savings convenience that can assist with expediting vehicle repairs.”
