Redmond Police representatives to speak at senior center Oct. 2

The Redmond Senior Center (RSC) is sponsoring a new program, First Friday Coffee Chats, featuring a different City of Redmond official each month. On Friday, Oct. 2 from 10-11 a.m. in the Fireplace Lounge of RSC, 8703 160th Ave. NE, Assistant Police Chief Larry Gainer and Commander Shari Shovlin will be the guests.

Designed as an informal discussion and question session, Chief Gainer and Commander Shovlin will discuss policing in Redmond. Participants may also have questions or want to offer suggestions about the qualities they would like to see in a new Police Chief for the City of Redmond.

Guests scheduled for First Friday Coffee Chats for the rest of the year are Public Works Director Bill Campbell (Nov. 6) and Human Service Manager Colleen Kelly (Dec. 4).

Registration for First Friday Coffee Chats is not necessary. Free refreshments are sponsored by Merrill Gardens. For more information on the program, call (425) 556-2314.
