Redmond police searching for bank robbery suspect

According to the Redmond Police Department Twitter this afternoon, there was police activity near the Avondale Fred Meyer at 17667 N.E. 76th St.

According to the Redmond Police Department Twitter this afternoon, there was police activity near the Avondale Fred Meyer at 17667 N.E. 76th St.

Officers were searching for a robbery suspect who entered the Chase Bank inside the store at 1:36 p.m. and said, “give me all your money.” No injuries were reported and bank staff said that he left the area on foot.

A K9 track and search by police were unsuccessful in locating him.

The suspect is described as a white male with a light mustache/beard, early 20s, 5-foot-7, slim build and wearing dark sunglasses, a grey Nike hoodie and green/navy Seahawks hat.
