Missing female teen and her infant return to aunt’s house in Bellevue

A 16-year-old-female and her infant who had been missing last Friday returned home to the teen’s aunt’s house on Sunday in Bellevue, according to the Redmond Police Department. Bellevue police went to the aunt’s residence and confirmed that the teen and the baby were physically OK.

A 16-year-old-female and her infant have been missing since approximately 9 a.m. on Friday when they left a residence in Redmond to take a bus to appointments in Bellevue, according to a Redmond Police Department (RPD) press release.

The teen — Katherine Ramos-Lima — lives with her aunt in Bellevue but was visiting her father who lives in Redmond. Her son is Sergio Ramos.

The teen recently moved here from El Salvador and has expressed her desire to return there to reunite with family, the release said. There are no indications the teen was taken against her will. She has been entered as a missing person.
