The Redmond Police Department will hold a Women’s Personal Safety Class on June 30.

The class is geared toward women of all ages and will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the council conference room, 15670 N.E. 85th St. Women will learn how to avoid becoming a victim of crime. Police will provide safety tips for work, home, outdoor activities, vehicle, social outings and what to do in case of car trouble.

This class also covers the pros and cons of different weapons for personal safety and how to legally and safely carry these. This is not a self defense course.
