Redmond police to participate in Tip-A-Cop at Red Robin for Special Olympics Washington

Tomorrow, Redmond police is participating in the ninth annual Tip-A-Cop Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign to support Special Olympics Washington.

Tomorrow, Redmond police is participating in the ninth annual Tip-A-Cop Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign to support Special Olympics Washington.

Police personnel will act as servers from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. at the Red Robin locations at 7597 170th Ave. N.E. in Redmond Town Center and 2390 148th Ave. N.E. in Overlake.

All tips go directly toward Special Olympics Washington. Tips can also be made at www.specialolympics.org.

Law enforcement agencies statewide aim to raise more than $125,000.

This event precedes Redmond’s Polar Plunge, in which police and community members dive into Lake Sammamish to raise money for the Special Olympics organization. Redmond police will take the plunge on March 15, 2015.
