Busted in the bathroom: Rose Hill Junior High School Resource officer Bill Corson was told that two students were believed to be smoking marijuana in the boys restroom.

Busted in the bathroom: Rose Hill Junior High School Resource officer Bill Corson was told that two students were believed to be smoking marijuana in the boys restroom.

Corson found the boys, who were in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and stolen school equipment.

The boys were arrested, booked and later released to their parents.

Theft: Police took a report of a stolen backpack at Redmond High School.

The backpack was later recovered with about $20 in cash and an i-Pod missing.

Tuesday, Sept. 30

DUI: Police arrested a man for driving under the influence and for possession of drug paraphernalia on Bel-Red Road and Northeast 30th Street. Police pulled the man over after he committed several traffic infractions.

Monday, Sept. 29

Possible burglary: A woman who lives in the 16100 block of Northeast 90th Way reported that she found her sliding door to be slightly open after she woke up this morning.

She said she believed the door was closed and locked the night before. Nothing was taken from inside the residence.

Sunday, Sept. 28

Theft: A juvenile stole some jewelry from a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast and then ran away when approached by a loss prevention officer.

Assault: A man who lives in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast reported that his estranged wife kicked him after an argument about selling his deceased mother’s ring.

Lock the doors: A suspect entered a woman’s unlocked vehicle in the 17100 block of Northeast 115th Way and stole her purse that was sitting on the passenger floorboard.

Saturday, Sept. 27

Diaper caper: A woman reported that her car was broken into in the 7200 block of 170th Avenue Northeast.

A side window was smashed and a GPS unit, two jackets and a diaper bag were stolen.

Friday, Sept. 26

Indecent exposure: Police responded arrested a man for indecent exposure in the central district. Witnesses saw the man exposing his genitals to urinate next a busy roadway during rush hour traffic.

Pushy boss: A man reported that his boss assaulted him on a construction job site in the 7800 block of 159th Place Northeast. The man told police that his boss almost pushed him off the second floor of a building under construction.

Thursday, Sept. 25

Cell-less in Redmond: A woman who lives in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast reported that her cell phone was missing. When the woman called her cell phone, an unknown man answered and said he would not return it.
