Redmond resident finds severed pig’s head on his front doorstep

A Lionsgate Townhomes resident woke up Monday morning to find a “severed large pig’s head” on his front doorstep, according to a Redmond Police spokesperson.

The pig’s head was placed on the ground-floor unit front doorstep “sometime overnight,” according to Lt. Charlie Gorman, who said Redmond Police responded to complex at 9:45 a.m., shortly after the man called Redmond Police.

Gorman said there is no suspect information and the man who reported the incident “said he had no idea why someone would do this and did not know of anyone who would do this.”

The case has been deemed “inactive” because there are no possible leads or suspects, according to Gorman.

As for the unqiue report, Gorman said “we have not received any other reports of similar incidents to my recollection,” Gorman said.
