Redmond resident Amy Sisk recently received a Lee and Donna Metcalf Scholarship from the University of Montana (UM) School of Journalism.

The scholarship covers the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees.Sisk, a 2010 graduate of Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, is the daughter of Toney and Wendy Sisk of Redmond. She is a junior at UM majoring in journalism.

Established by the Lee and Donna Metcalf Trust, this scholarship honors 1935 journalism graduate Donna Hoover Metcalf and her husband, Lee, who served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1961 to 1978. The recipient must have a demonstrated interest and focus on political reporting.
