Redmond’s Vikas Arun is still dancing up a storm.

The 20-year-old, who trained at the Premiere Dance Center in Redmond, is one of the top 36 stage contestants on tonight’s “So You Think You Can Dance” episode set for 8 p.m. on FOX.

Arun — who moved to New York City to attend Columbia University in September 2013 — appeared on the June 29 episode and was named one of the top 36 stage dancers from around the country to advance to the Las Vegas callback round.

In January, Vikas auditioned for “So You Think You Can Dance” in New York City, where he was one of 19 dancers — out of more than 800 dancers who auditioned — to make it to the Las Vegas callback round on the first day.

In Las Vegas, more than 100 stage dancers were present, and in the June 29 episode, Vikas impressed the judges in the solo round (where he did tap), contemporary round and Broadway round to snag a spot in the top 36.
