According to Kathryn Reith, communications director of Lake Washington School District, the pipe was on the third floor and water had come through into the P.E. office and locker rooms.
“Staff are there now fixing everything so school will open normally tomorrow,” she said.
There will also be no after school activities today.
Councilmember Reagan Dunn and more than a dozen business owners argued tips and health care expenses should be a part of the new wage. The council passed the ordinance without the amendment.
