‘Share Your Harvest’ with Redmond-based Hopelink

If your garden is producing more than you can eat, then "Share Your Harvest." There is a great need for fresh food at local food banks and every Saturday through Sept. 25, Molbak's, 13625 NE 175th St. in Woodinville, is collecting just-picked produce for Redmond-based Hopelink's food bank programs.

If your garden is producing more than you can eat, then “Share Your Harvest.”

There is a great need for fresh food at local food banks and every Saturday through Sept. 25, Molbak’s, 13625 NE 175th St. in Woodinville, is collecting just-picked produce for Redmond-based Hopelink’s food bank programs.

Simply harvest and drop off home-grown fruits, veggies and herbs which will be distributed to clients of the Hopelink centers in Redmond and Totem Lake. There is no need to pre-wash the food, just place it in bags for delivery.

Donations can also be taken directly to Hopelink centers. For locations and more information, visit www.hope-link.org.

Suggested donations are apples, blueberries, blackberries, cabbage, chard, carrots, kiwi, garlic, green beans, herbs, lettuce, peas, raspberries, summer squash, sweet peppers, tomatoes, winter squash and anything else that is fresh from your garden.

Donation days are held every Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. in Molbak’s Garden Store. For questions, call (425) 483-5000 or visit the events page at www.molbaks.com.
