Tuesday, Nov. 1

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 9:33 a.m. in the 7400 block of 159th Place Northeast. Someone stole a 2016 black Nissan Sentra from an apartment complex.

Monday, Oct. 31

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 6:06 p.m. in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street. A man shoplifted from a store and struck a store employee in the face and body.

Sunday, Oct. 30

Malicious mischief: Redmond police took a malicious-mischief report at 1:11 p.m. in the 1700 block of Northeast 88th Street. A known suspect reportedly damaged more than $6,000 worth of property at a residence.

Saturday, Oct. 29

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 9:15 a.m. in the 14900 block of Northeast 76th Court. Someone used a resident’s credit card for a transaction at a Best Buy in another state.

Friday, Oct. 28

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 5:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. Officers arrested a shoplifter who struck a loss prevention employee in the head.

Thursday, Oct. 27

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 4:38 p.m. in the 16700 block of Redmond Way. Officers responded when a store employee discovered discarded security tags from a recent shoplift.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 10:40 a.m. in the 7900 block of 170th Avenue Northeast. Employees caught a male subject trespassing in a secured parking garage at an apartment. Although gone when officers arrived, they were able to identify the man from a photo taken by staff.
