Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 5:24 p.m. in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. A shoplifter stole a bottle of scotch.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 10:31 a.m. in the 12200 block of 164th Court Northeast. A resident reported a theft from his unlocked vehicle in front of a residence.

Monday, May 23

Burglary: Redmond police took a non-residential burglary report at 4:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. Officers responded to a report of found property and recovered several items, some that were likely stolen from a nearby construction site.

Theft: Redmond police took a purse-snatch report at 2:50 p.m. in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Officers responded to the theft of a wallet, purse and phone from a cart in a retail store.

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 4:41 p.m. in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Officers assisted a local store and trespassed an individual from their property.

Drug paraphernalia: Redmond police took report of drug-paraphernalia possession at 3:14 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. Officers contacted individuals in a vehicle and provided assistance to one individual who appeared ill. After observing drug paraphernalia and several items that did not appear to belong to anyone in the car, three people were detained and the car was seized.

Saturday, May 21

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 7:48 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. Officers contacted a 15-year-old for stealing a large bottle of vodka from a grocery store. The store declined to pursue charges.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 12:05 p.m. in the 8100 block of 149th Place Northeast. Unknown suspect(s) entered a victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS, Iphone cord and papers from the glove box.

Friday, May 20

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 11:31 a.m. in the 16400 block of Northeast 91st Street. Officers investigated a reported theft of a flower pot.

Attempted robbery: Redmond police took an attempted-robbery report at 9:28 a.m. in the 15900 block of Redmond Way. Officers responded to a report of an unidentified suspect attempting to steal merchandise and then attempting to assault a grocery store employee.

Burglary: Redmond police took a non-residential burglary report at 7:13 p.m. in the 16500 block of Northeast 83rd Street. Officers responded to a theft of a suitcase from a storage unit.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a building at 3:34 p.m. in the 3100 block of 181st Avenue Northeast. Officers assisted when a family member reported that another family member sold their personal items without permission.

Wednesday, May 18

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 10:20 a.m. in the 3800 block of 167th Place Northeast. A victim reported that he left his backpack unattended on the sidewalk for approximately two minutes. An unknown suspect was seen grabbing the backpack and running off. It was discarded nearby, and all contents remained inside and were located by the owner.
