Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 7:17 a.m. in the 18600 block of Northeast 62nd Court. Someone stole a 1989 Chevy truck from an apartment complex. Someone nabbed the same vehicle the previous day and it was recovered that day in the parking lot of the complex. The victim said he is new to the area and doesn’t know who would be targeting his vehicle.

Sunday, Oct. 16

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 4:05 p.m. in the 8700 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. Officers responded to Seattle Mental Health when a female patient reportedly bit and hit a staff member and hit another patient over the head with a chair. She was transported to a hospital, with officers mediating between both staffs trying to determine the most appropriate and safest place for her.

Saturday, Oct. 15

Domestic violence: Redmond police responded to a 911 domestic-violence call at 10:46 p.m. in the 11300 block of 182nd Place Northeast. K-9 Remy assisted with a search and located the man involved hiding in the ceiling crawlspace of the apartment. He was taken into custody without incident and the family was provided assistance.

Friday, Oct. 14

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 8:50 a.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. A man tackled another man, who struck his head on the cement, outside the library. The two have had several verbal altercations in the past over a mutual female acquaintance.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Harassment: Redmond police took a harassment report at 5:31 p.m. in the 15800 block of Northeast 83rd Street. Officers arrested an extremely intoxicated female customer who was harassing others at a restaurant.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 8:03 p.m. in the 6200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast. Officers provided guidance to a single mother who requested information about a domestic-violence issue.
