Trespassing: Redmond police took a criminal-trespassing report at 7:08 a.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street. Officers arrested a man for trespassing at Rite Aid Pharmacy.

Monday, Aug. 21

Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 2 p.m. in the 16600 block of Redmond Way. A caller reported a smashed window at a local business.

Sunday, Aug. 20

Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 11:08 a.m. in the 5200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast. A caller reported that two cars in her driveway had been egged. No suspects were identified.

Saturday, Aug. 19

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 8:54 a.m. in the 17100 block of Redmond Way. A local business manager reported that a woman had used counterfeit money to purchase an item from the shop. Another suspect returned later in the day to return the item for a cash refund. Investigation is ongoing.

Friday, Aug. 18

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 6:36 p.m. in the 8700 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. Officers arrested a male; the victim did not appear to be seriously injured.

Thursday, Aug. 17

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 8:29 a.m. in the 10200 block of 179th Avenue Northeast. A caller reported finding a package that had apparently been stolen from a Redmond residence in 2016. The rightful owner of the package has been located.
