Auto theft: A car was reported stolen from an apartment complex parking lot in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. There is no suspect information.

Missing laptop: An employee reported her laptop computer was stolen from her unlocked office in the 14800 block of Northeast 31st Way. The case is under active investigation.

Radar love: An unknown suspect smashed the driver’s side window and a stole a radar detector from a car in the 14800 block of Redmond Way.

Monday, Feb. 16

Stop stealing: A Stop sign was removed from the intersection of Northeast 84th Street and 171st Avenue Northeast.

Hide your valuables: Redmond Police responded to two car prowls in the 9800 block of Avondale Road. In both cases, passenger windows of the vehicles were smashed. A purse was removed from one car and a digital camera from the other.

DUI: A Redmond resident was stopped for traffic infractions near Northeast 70th Street and Redmond Way and subsequently placed into custody for investigation of DUI.

Break-in: Redmond Police were called to the scene of a commercial burglary in the 14600 block of Northeast 95th Street. The suspects gained entry by breaking a window and entered an adjoining business through a crawl space above the ceiling tiles.

Sunday, Feb. 15

Assault: An assault occurred at an apartment complex in the 15800 block of Northeast 83rd Street. The suspect did not live at the apartments and charges are pending.

DUI: A Redmond man was arrested for DUI at Northeast 88th Place and Avondale Road.

Saturday, Feb. 14

Tools taken: A resident of the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast reported that his car window was shattered and tools were stolen.

Suspicious circumstances: An unknown suspect pried open doors leading to laundry rooms in the 8200 block of 170th Place Northeast but nothing was taken from the laundry rooms.

Thursday, Feb. 12

Threats: Redmond Police responded to threats at a store in the 5000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. The victim said the suspect threatened to kill him when he is not at work. The suspect has not been located.

Nothing is sacred: Redmond Police responded to numerous car prowls at a church in the 9900 block of Willows Road. Car windows were smashed and miscellaneous items taken.

Assault: A man reported that he was assaulted at a soccer game in the 9000 block of 196th Avenue Northeast. A suspect was named and an investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, Feb. 11

Shoplifting: An adult female concealed merchandise in her purse and left a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. She was arrested, booked and released.

Theft: Police investigated a report of theft from a construction site in the 8100 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. The investigation is ongoing.
