DUI: A Bellevue driver was stopped for traffic infractions at Northeast 26th Street and Bel-Red Road and placed into custody for investigation for driving under the influence.

Flat tires: A resident in the 8500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast reported that his tires were flattened sometime on the night of Feb. 21.

Caught in the act: Three suspects were caught shoplifting in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast and charged with theft.

Missing person: Redmond Police responded to a missing person report in the 9000 block of 170th Avenue Northeast.

Elder abuse: An elderly victim was allegedly mentally and physically by her daughter-in-law, with whom she resided, in the 16000 block of Northeast 101st St. Police also responded to a report of alleged mental abuse of an elderly victim, by her son, in the 7900 block of Willows Road.

Tuesday, Feb. 24

Retail theft: Redmond officers investigated a theft at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way, but there is no suspect information.

Shoplifters: A Bellevue resident was cited and released for shoplifting at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. In another incident on the same block, a retailer had a shoplifter in custody and was arrested after the crime.

Threats: Redmond Police responded to a complaint of threats in the 10900 block of Avondale Road.

Monday, Feb. 23

Come on in: Unknown suspects entered an unlocked rear door in the 2100 block of 179th Court Northeast and stole a marble table. Also, a resident in the 18600 block of Northeast 53rd Street reported that an unknown person entered his unlocked company vehicle and took a cell phone and other property.

Sunday, Feb. 22

Obviously impaired: Officers responded to multiple calls about a vehicle driving on its rim and swerving. The vehicle was located at a residence at Northeast 24th Street and 186th Avenue Northeast and the driver was arrested for DUI.

Suspicious fire: Redmond Police responded to a brush fire at a park in the 7000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Several burned spray paint cans were found at the scene. The incident was investigated by Redmond Fire but no suspect information was available.

Reckless endangerment: A juvenile destroyed a neighbor’s ceramic bird feeder when he was shooting an air gun in his backyard in the 7500 block of 146th Avenue Northeast.

Shut up: After a second response to a loud party, a homeowner in the 14800 block of Northeast 68th Street was cited for public disturbance.

Vandalism: A victim’s tire was cut with an unknown weapon at a parking lot in the 15800 block of Redmond Way.

Missing person: Redmond Police responded to a missing person call from the 3400 block of 175th Avenue Northeast. The missing female’s husband reported that she left while he was away on a business trip. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, Feb. 21

Domestic violence: A man was arrested in the 9800 block of Avondale Road after a physical altercation with his wife.

Underage drinker: A minor in possession of alcohol was arrested at Northeast 24th Street and 148th Avenue Northeast.

Car prowler: At a park in the 9000 block of 196th Avenue Northeast, a bag was stolen from inside a vehicle after the rear driver’s side door was smashed.

Friday, Feb. 20

Settle down: Redmond officers investigated a disturbance at a gym in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast.

Shoplifting: A female customer concealed merchandise and left a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast without paying. She was arrested, booked and then released.
