Three men arrested in Overlake burglary Friday morning

Three men were arrested early Friday morning after Redmond and Bellevue police officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm in the Overlake area of Redmond.

Three men were arrested early Friday morning after Redmond and Bellevue police officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm in the Overlake area of Redmond.

Redmond police received a 911 call from a private alarm company shortly after 3 a.m. about an intrusion into a commercial site in the 15300 block of Northeast 24th Street.

Police officers from Redmond and Bellevue including a police K-9 unit quickly responded to the area where they detained and arrested three men, a 43-year-old from Seatac, a 43-year-old from Seattle, and a 29-year-old from Renton. Two of the men were stopped by officers as they were leaving the area in a vehicle. The other man was tracked and located by the police K-9 unit in the vicinity.

The case is still under investigation by the Redmond police patrol division. It is still unknown what, if anything was taken from the site. The three men were booked into the King County Jail on charges of second degree burglary.
