Tuesday, May 24

Shoplifting: Three teenagers were arrested for shoplifting at a store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast at around 12:30 a.m.

Stolen vehicle recovered: A person reported that an abandoned vehicle was left in their business’ parking lot in the 12200 block of 134th Circle Northeast. The vehicle was reported stolen to Kent Police Department and the stolen vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner.

Monday, May 23

Harassment: A harassing written note was left on a person’s parked vehicle in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. The vehicle was parked outside the Starbucks in the Bella Bottega shopping center and belonged to a Muslim woman. The note said, “We don’t Muslims in America” in English and “We don’t want Muslims in America. Go away” in Arabic.

Vandalism: Redmond police received a report at 4:48 p.m. that images were spray painted on a neighborhood mailbox in the 10300 block of 176th Avenue Northeast.

Theft: Redmond police responded to a report of a theft at 4:33 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway, where boat parts were stolen.

Auto thefts: At 1:19 p.m., a woman reported that her boyfriend’s vehicle was stolen from their apartment complex in the 17700 block of Northeast 90th Street sometime in the middle of the night. At 1:01 p.m., a woman who lives in the 18500 block of Northeast 58th Circle reported her car as stolen. A police officer found the vehicle in a nearby apartment complex.

Phone harassment: Redmond police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street.

Saturday, May 21

Shoplifting: A 23-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue.

Friday, May 20

Car prowls: There were three different car prowls reported — one at 7:43 a.m. in the 9600 block of 163rd Place Northeast, a second at 7:45 a.m. in the 9700 block of 159th Place Northeast and a third at 8:15 a.m. in the 13400 block of Northeast 70th Street.

Thursday, May 19

Vandalism: At 2 p.m., a woman reported that her vehicle had been keyed from the front to the rear of the driver’s side in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street.
