A Redmond apartment manager found two deceased adults in a residence Tuesday morning in the 16000 block of Cleveland Street.

According to a Redmond Police Department (RPD) press release issued Tuesday evening, the two victims — a female and male, both 27 — were located at about 11:30 a.m. with gunshot wounds to the head in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

The manager entered the apartment to check on the couple’s welfare since they had not been seen or heard from in several days, the release said.

RPD detectives are investigating the scene and have not yet released any further details. The identity of the victims will be released after the King County Medical Examiner notifies their next of kin.
