All eligible King County voters will receive a ballot for the April 22 special election that will include a county wide measure and a Lake Washington School District bond measure.

The following voter registration deadlines apply to vote in the April 22 special election:

April 14: Deadline for in-person registration for new Washington voters

To register to vote, you must be:

• A citizen of the United States;

• A legal resident of Washington state;

• At least 18 years old by election day;

• Not disqualified from voting due to a court order; and

• Not under Department of Corrections supervision for a Washington felony conviction.

Voters should return ballots as early as possible, but not later than election day. Voters returning ballots by mail need to affix first class postage. Ballots must be postmarked by April 22. Voters can return a ballot without postage at any of 10 drop boxes 24 hours/day starting April 3 until 8 p.m. on election day.
