Wheat flour poured all over main entry of Rose Hill Junior High | Police blotter

Wednesday, Feb. 3

Flour power: A Rose Hill Junior High custodian arrived to work at around 6 a.m. to find two 25-pound bags of wheat flour poured all over the outside main entry of the school. The flour pourer struck sometime between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., according to Jim Bove, Redmond Police spokesperson. “There is no suspect information and there was no damage to the property, despite school staff having to clean the mess. I’d guess it was just someone being mischievous. There is no further investigation at this point unless we come across more information.”

Missing ring: A woman who lives in the 11300 block of 183rd Place Northeast realized her wedding ring was missing from the bathroom where it had been stored for a month.

Tuesday, Feb. 2

Burglary: Redmond Police are investigating a residential burglary in the 9900 block of 170th Place Northeast.

Fraud: An unknown suspect attempted to get money through fraudulent credit card transactions at a business in the 7500 block of 159th Place Northeast.

Monday, Feb. 1

Stolen license plate: An employee at a business in the 16000 block of Northeast 36th Way discovered he had a stolen license plate on his vehicle after being contacted by the Seattle Police.

DUI: A Seattle woman was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop at around 3:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, Jan. 31

Missing purse: A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 9000 block of Willows Road.

Saturday, Jan. 30

Assault: A man fled the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast after assaulting his girlfriend at around 4 a.m.

Graffiti: Someone spray painted initials on a fence at the corner of Northeast 99th Way and 181st Avenue Northeast.

Shoplifting: A teenage girl was arrested for shoplifting at a business in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street and later released to her mother.

Friday, Jan. 29

Shoplifters caught: Three teenage girls were arrested for shoplifting items from several stores at the Redmond Town Center.

Quick getaway: The owner of a vehicle parked in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road returned to the parking lot to find a man trying to break into her vehicle. The suspect jumped into another vehicle and fled the scene and was not located by police.
