Zetron in Redmond is holding its first “Shoot for the Stars” golf tournament on Oct. 3 at the Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville.

Participants will include first responders and representatives from law enforcement, public safety and governmental agencies throughout the state. Event proceeds will benefit the Behind the Badge Foundation, an organization that honors injured and fallen police officers. The foundation also serves a resource for surviving officers and families. Q13 news anchor David Rose will serve as the event’s master of ceremonies.

“The day gives us a special opportunity to connect as a community and support Behind the Badge and the law enforcement men and women who take great risks everyday to keep us safe,” said Zetron President and CEO, Ellen O’Hara. “This is the first of what we hope will become an annual Zetron-sponsored event to celebrate and benefit our community.”

Registration the day of the event begins at 10 a.m. The event starts at 1 p.m. A barbecue lunch, drinks and appetizers will be served.
