Martha Lee Cameron (née Loranger), of Redmond, WA, was a dedicated matriarch who had a passion for helping others. She passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 74.
A lifelong resident of the Eastside, Marty was born to Henry and Mary Loranger on December 2, 1947 in Kirkland, WA. At an early age Marty discovered her penchant as a taskmaster to help, in part, watch over her five rambunctious brothers – a role that she enthusiastically continued throughout her life.
Marty graduated from Sammamish High School in 1966, where she met fellow Totem, William (Bill) Cameron. They married the following year and began their 54-year journey together.
Marty loved Elvis and Corvettes and for the last 19 years was an active member of the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle. The club provided her with continuous opportunities to lead and deeply involve herself in many charitable activities for organizations such as Toys for Tots, Jubilee Reach, the Retsil Veteran’s Home, the Ronald McDonald House, and many others.
At her request, no service will be held, but Marty will be remembered and missed by Bill, her three children, her eight granddaughters, a great-grandson, her five brothers, and numerous other family and friends whose lives she deeply impacted.
