There are plenty of issues going on in Redmond to stir readers’ interests, from traffic to construction to marijuana to homelessness and so on. If you’ve got an opinion, speak out and get a conversation going with fellow readers and even city officials.

Penning a letter to the editor, commenting on a story or even writing a guest column has a twofold purpose: It lets us know what you think about the stories that we’re writing, and it gives you the chance to put your thoughts into action and become part of the community on a greater level.

If you’ve got story ideas for us to tackle, let us know what you’d like to see in the paper and on the website.

In the future, the Reporter may be forming an editorial board or feedback group and we’d like to know if there are community members who would like to be involved with it and take their readership position a step further.

The plan is in its infancy stages, so get in touch and let us know what you think about readers becoming involved in this fashion.

Readers can reach me at anystrom@redmond-reporter.com.

Thanks for reading.
